Lois' Dressing

Location: Byron, Oklahoma.
2 to 2 1/2 Qt. of dried bread crumbs
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup diced celery
Cornbread
scrap meat pieces from chicken or turkey

Salt and pepper to taste
2 tea ground sage and several
several bullion cubes
1 quart or more turkey or chicken broth
|
Place bread crumbs and cornbread in a shallow baking pan, set aside.
Cook remaining ingredients in broth until tender. Cool mixture down and add 6 beaten eggs and a lot of
the scrappy meat pieces. Pour over the bread mixture slowly and toss lightly so not to make the mix gooey.
Bake at 350-400* for approximately 20-30 min. until brown.
