French - Garlic Potatoes

6 medium potatoes
1 stick margarine

French salad dressing
Garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400 degreesPeel 6 medium potatoes and slice in half length wise.Melt 1 stick of Margarine
in a heavy skillet.Place potatoes in margarine and brush them with margarine.COVER and cook 30 minutes.Test
for doneness with a toothpickshould be slightly brown. Turn over and brush with French dressing and sprinkle
with garlic powder. Bake 30 minutes uncovered or until brown and crispy on the outside.
