Midnight Brownies

1 (3- 5/8) or 4-ounce package
regular chocolate pudding mix
1 3/4 cups milk
1 1-layer-size package
chocolate cake mix

1 6-ounce package (1 cup)
semi sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Prepare pudding mix according to package directions except use the 1 3/4 cups milk instead of the amount
called for on the package. Remove from heat. Add cake mix, chocolate pieces, and nuts; mix well. Turn
into greased and floured 12x7 1/2x2-inch baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or
till done. Cool. Cut in bars. Makes 2 dozen bars.
