Raspberry Special Pie

1/2 cup real chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons shortening
1 - 6 oz. Chocolate Pie Crust
(I have used shortbread)

2 cups fresh raspberries
(fresh or frozen, thawed, drained)
1 - 8 oz. thawed Cool Whip

In microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate with shortening, stirring every 30 seconds. Spread over the bottom
of pie crust. Spread berries over chocolate. Top with cool whip. Refrigerate until serving. 6-8 servings.
