Raisin Custard Pie

1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites

2 cups milk
1/2 cup raisins
2 tsp. lemon juice
9" baked pie crust

Stir together 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbsp cornstarch. Whisk in 3 egg yolks & 2 cups milk stirring constantly
to boiling & boil for 1 minute or until thick - Add 1/2 cup raisins & 2 tsp. lemon juice - Pour
into 9" baked pie crust - Beat egg whites til foamy & gradually add 1/4 cup sugar and beat till
stiff & glossy. Spread on pie & bake 15 mins. at 350.
