Mix sugar, flour and egg yolks in a little cold milk, add to HOT milk and boil until thickened. Remove
from fire - add butter and vanilla. Place in baked - cool - pie shell, top with meringue. Place in oven
and brown meringue.
ADD: 1/2 to 3/4 cups chopped pecans for a Caramel Nut Pie
