Apple Praline Fletcher

5 1/2 cups granny apples
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tbls cornstarch
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Mix together and let set for a while
Praline mixture:
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tbls butter(no margarine)
1/3 cup ground pecans
Mix together and set aside.
Directions:
Mix apples and place half in pie crust, that has been pre-baked for 8 minutes (to avoid a soggy crust). Add 1/2 praline mixture over top of apples. Top this with rest of apples and then the rest of the praline mixture. Cover with top crust. If you have a mini apple cookie cutter, cut out an apple from the center. Put leaves around the edge of the crust.
Bake in a pre-heated oven, 400 degrees for 30/35 minutes.
