Grandma's Macaroni

1/1/2 lbs ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 green pepper cut in pieces
1-28oz can tomatoes crushed (Alymer)

1-14oz tomato juice(Heinz)
6 slices cheese (Kraft)
1/2 small box long macaroni (Catelli)
salt, pepper, garlic powder

Brown meat and onions add green pepper seasoned with salt and pepper, garlic powder to taste.
In a roaster place tomatoes crushed. 1/2 the tomato juice and cheese in broken pieces. Add meat mixture.
Boil macaroni 5 minutes then rinse under cold water. Macaroni will still be firm. Place in roaster add
rest of tomato juice and mix a little.
Cover and cook at 350 for 45- 60 mins.
DON'T OVER COOK OR MACARONI WILL BE MUSHY.
Let stand a few minutes before serving.
