Beef Burgundy

lb. stew beef, cut into bite size
pieces 1 can golden
cream of mushroom
soup 


1 soup can red wine (table or cooking wine is fine)

1 pkg. dried onion soup mix

1 soup can red wine (table wine or cooking wine is fine

Cover bottom of 8" x 8" glass baking dish with stew beef.
Pour cream of mushroom soup on top of beef, then add cooking wine.
Sprinkle dried onion soup mix on top - do not stir the ingredients together.
Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. You can also use a crock pot if you prefer.
Serve over egg noodles.
