Pumpkin Maple Swirl Muffins

Muffins:
2 c flour
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c chopped walnuts
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 c canned pumpkin
3/4 c evaporated milk
1/4 c oil
1 Tlb maple syrup

Filling:
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 Tlb brown sugar
2 Tlb maple syrup
Topping:
2 tsp brown sugar
1/4 c chopped walnuts

For filling- Combine cream cheese, sugar & syrup.
For muffins- mix flour, sugar, nuts, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda & salt in a bowl. In another
bowl, mix eggs, pumpkin, evaporated milk, oil & syrup; add to flour mixture.
Fold the filling in just until batter is swirled.
Mix the sugar and nuts for the topping.
Spoon batter into 12 greased muffin tins. Sprinkle nut topping over the muffins.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
