Caramel Bread Pudding
Caramel Bread Pudding

1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
6 slices bread quartered and no crusts
2 T. butter melted
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 t. cinnamon

2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/8 t. salt
2 eggs beaten
1 t. vanilla

Press sugar into bottom of 8x8 baking dish. Place bread on top. Drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with raisins
and cinnamon. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over bread gently. Bake 35-40 minutes
at 350* or till knife comes out clean when put near center. Serves 4.
Comment: ( this makes it's own caramel sauce and it's very rich and DELICIOUS!)
