Blonde Brownies

2 cups All purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
2/3 cup Butter or Margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups firmly packed
light brown Sugar

2 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 cup chopped Walnuts or Pecans
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13 x 9 or 15 x 10 baking pan.
2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
3. Beat butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs,
one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Mix in nuts.
4. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan. Sprinkle Chocolate Chips evenly over top; press in slightly.
5. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares when cool.
Makes 24 squares
