Blackberry Pudding
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour, sifted
1/3 cup butter
2 cups boiling water

1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
2 cups blackberries
|
Cream 1 cup of sugar and the butter together. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, milk and mix well. Pour
blackberries on top, pour in the 1 cup of sugar and the 2 cups of boiling water. Bake in oven at 350 degrees
until top is golden brown (approximately 50 min.). Allow to cool.
