In large glass bowl bake cake mix according to directions, adding 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the mix.
Let cake cool. While cake is baking make up French Vanilla pudding.
Refrigerate pudding for one hour.
When cake is cool put one layer of cake chunks in the bottom of the trifle bowl.
Place one layer of pudding on top of cake chunks, followed by a layer of raspberries (and juice).
Repeat layers ( two layers of each should fill your bowl).
Top with real whipped cream beaten till thick and flavored with a little vanilla and sugar.
Trifle Two Weight Watchers Way:
Substitute store bought or homemade Angel Food cake for yellow cake.
Substitute Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt for pudding.
Use any fruit you like, Raspberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Peaches or combo of two.
Use low fat Cool Whip for substitute Whipped Cream.
Chill for a couple of hours and serve slightly cool in parfait dishes.
Top with one piece of fruit or mint leaf.
