In large mixer bowl, combine butter, the sugars and vanilla pudding. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat
in eggs. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Add to butter mixture. Stir in oatmeal, raisins
and vanilla. Batter will be stiff. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375
degrees for 12 minutes or until light brown. Makes about 4 dozen large cookies. They become even chewier
and tastier after the first day. The cinnamon and cloves give them a slightly spicy taste and can be omitted
from the recipe if you like.
