Chocolate Chip Peaunt Squares

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. vegetable oil spread, softened
[Blue Bonnet 53%]
1/2 c. light brown sugar

1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanuts
|
Combine flour and soda; set aside.
Blend sread and sugar in large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. add egg and vanilla,
blending until smooth. Gradually blend in flor mixture; stir in chocolate chips and peanuts. Spread mixture
into lightly greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 deg. for 30 min. or until done. Cool completely
in pan on wire rack.
Cut into squares to serve. Makes 16 squares.
