Sausage-Rice Casserole

1 pound light pork sausage
1/2 cup cooked long grain rice
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

1 envelope instant chicken noodle
soup mix
1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts,
drained and chopped
1 (4 oz) can diced green chili peppers

Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble meat; drain off drippings. Mix all ingredients in casserole
dish and cover with water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Four servings.
