Fresh Strawberry Cake

CAKE:

1 box white cake mix

1 small box strawberry jello

4 eggs

1/2 C. strawberries (fresh or frozen)

3/4 C. strawberry juice (add water if needed to make 3/4 c)

3/4 C. oil

ICING:

1 stick margarine, softened

1/2 C. drained strawberries

1/4 tsp. vanilla

1 1-Lb. box Confectioners Sugar

This cake should be baked in a pan that it can be left in. It is very moist and heavy and can not be taken out of the pan. Use a 13x9x2 pan. Mix icing ingredients together and set a side. For cake, mix the eggs and oil together, then add juice, berries and mix well. Add dry Jello mix, then add the cake mix and mix until smooth. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes and then start watching, checking for browning and doneness. The toothpick rule works well. Let cake sit for 10 minutes. Poke small holes with tooth pic all over cake and then pour on the icing. Icing is thin and the cake soaks up a lot. This cake is so delicious you may want to make it when you have company so that you can stay out of it!
